Guilford County's 'most wanted'

David Alejandro Cruz, 27

is wanted by Greensboro police for felonies including breaking and entering, larceny, possession of stolen goods and assault by strangulation.

According to police, Cruz broke into Tienda La Guadalupana on June 30 and stole $31,600 worth of goods. The goods were recovered when Cruz's accomplice was arrested, but Cruz evaded capture.

Cruz also is wanted for misdemeanor assault on a female.

Police describe Cruz as a Hispanic man, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 155 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Cruz has a tattoo of a face on his back as well as words tattooed on both arms and his stomach. His last known address is 214 Huffman St. in Greensboro.

Mark Austin Maxwell, 19

Is wanted by the Greensboro Police Department for identity theft, financial card theft and nine counts of obtaining property by false pretense.

According to police, Maxwell stole a customer's debit card on June 1 while he worked as a cashier at Food Lion on Drawbridge Parkway. Maxwell then used the cards to make fraudulent purchases of more than $600, police said.

Maxwell is a white man, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his right forearm. His last known address is 14 Covert Garden Court in Greensboro.
