Music is in the air this weekend in Rockingham County.

Enjoy a night under the stars with the "Music in the Park" series continuing Saturday night at the gazebo in Mayodan Park. The Mayodan Preservation League welcomes the community to enjoy an old-time country and bluegrass concert featuring Almost Country. The concert begins at 6 p.m. and will offer a hot dog dinner. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy some summertime relaxation.

A benefit concert will also take place Saturday night at Stoneville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Dolon Priddy's Southern Gospel Sing will benefit Hospice of Rockingham County. Stained Glass Quintet, The Lighthouse Family and Eddy Irvin will entertain.

This concert is free, but a love offering will be collected to benefit Hospice.

And on Sunday, head over to Hanging Rock State Park in Danbury and enjoy an afternoon of Old Time Folk Music with the Snow Creek Old Tyme Band.
