Allegiant Air will end scheduled service between Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Piedmont Triad International Airport, the airline said on Friday.
Customers with reservations Sept. 7 and beyond will be contacted directly by Allegiant for reaccomodation, according to a company news release.
The airline is also ending routes between Fort Lauderdale and Allentown, Pa.; Chattanooga, Tenn.; Huntington, W.Va. and Tri-Cities, Tenn.
Allegiant began service from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Nov. 14. The low-cost carrier will continue to provide nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale and three U.S. cities: Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C.; Knoxville, Tenn.; and Plattsburgh, N.Y.
