WINSTON-SALEM - A man was arrested Saturday and charged with killing his estranged wife.

Officers found the victim, Tosha Cassandra Barr, 25, outside, lying on the ground and suffering from a laceration. Barr was taken to the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center where she later died.

Police arrested her estranged husband -- Travis Lawan Barr, 34, of 1206 E. 23rd St. in Winston-Salem -- and charged him with first-degree. Barr was held in jail without bond.
