PLEASANT GARDEN -- A town meeting will be held Aug. 28 for Pleasant Garden residents to discuss groundwater issues with state and local officials.
The program, "Well, Where's the Water," begins at 7 p.m. and is sponsored by the Guilford County Department of Public Health and the town of Pleasant Garden.
Residents will hear presentations regarding water conservation and groundwater monitoring in their community, the status of the North Carolina's groundwater and weather information.
Registration is not required, but seating will be limited in the Town Hall at 4920 Alliance Church Road.
