Deadlines approach on school busing requests
GREENSBORO - Parents who want their children to ride Guilford County Schools buses must submit their requests this month.
July 8 is the deadline to request transportation to magnet schools. Parents have until July 21 to request transportation to traditional schools.
Students enrolled in traditional schools who received transportation last year and will attend the same school do not need to submit a request form unless:
* The student did not ride the bus last year,
* The student moved to a different address or
* The student's morning or afternoon transportation address is different.
For more information, contact the transportation department at 370-8920 or visit the office at 131 Franklin Blvd. in Greensboro. Magnet school applicants should visit the student assignment office at 120 Franklin Blvd.
