GREENSBORO - A blow torch was used to open up an ATM, police said.
At 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, a passerby noticed someone had cut a hole in the side of an ATM machine at the BB&T bank at 3150 N. Elm St., said Lt. Brian Cheek, a spokesman for the Greensboro police.
The safe was entered but no money was taken, Cheek said.
Police were investigating the incident early Wednesday morning.
