Florida State backup quarterback Xavier Lee was suspended two games Monday for violating team rules.

Coach Bobby Bowden did not release details. Lee will be allowed to practice.

The Seminoles (5-3, 2-3 ACC) will be forced to use one of two redshirt freshmen, Christian Ponder or D'Vontrey Richardson, behind starter Drew Weatherford on Saturday at No. 2 Boston College (8-0, 4-0).

Lee will also miss the Nov. 10 trip to Virginia Tech.

LSU: Backup quarterback Ryan Perrilloux and linebacker Derrick Odom are not expected to play for No. 3 LSU against No. 17 Alabama on Saturday because of their part in a nightclub brawl.

Coach Les Miles said they will not practice this week.

NEBRASKA: quarterback Sam Keller will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury, the latest setback in a tumultuous season for coach Bill Callahan and the Cornhuskers.

Callahan said during a conference call that Joe Ganz will start this week against No. 8 Kansas.

MISSISSIPPI: coach Ed Orgeron suspended defensive end Greg Hardy for a violation of team rules.

Orgeron said the suspension is indefinite and offered few details, though he did say later that the Southeastern Conference's sack leader was not in legal trouble.

AUBURN: forward Josh Dollard, the Tigers' leading scorer and rebounder last year, will not play this season for medical reasons and will take a redshirt year, coach Jeff Lebo said.
