Gang forum planned in Greensboro

GREENSBORO - The Greensboro Police Department will hold a Drug and Gang Awareness Educational Forum on Oct. 29 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Odeon Theater, located at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, 1921 W. Lee St.

The forum is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in the front of the Coliseum along Lee Street.

In addition to a presentation by Greensboro police, Darryl Kosciak of the Folk Teen Center will provide information on Project Hope, a program administered by the city's Parks & Recreation Department that aims to involve teens in productive activities.
