Greensboro - A state-wide Amber Alert was issued today for a missing infant from Harnett County.
Harmony Jude Creech, 11 months old, is described as a white female, approximately 2-feet 7-inches tall weighing 18 pounds. She has sandy-blonde hair and blue eyes.
She was last seen wearing pink pajama footies with pink snaps down the front. On one arm, the wording "Daddy's Girl" and the picture of a crown is on her sleeve.
Also taken were a pink bed sheet and most of her clothing along with a few bibs.
Harmony has a dark birthmark on the back of her head at least 1/4' in size.
Harnett County Sheriff Larry Rollins told Raleigh's WRAL-TV that the infant hasn't been seen since Thursday night. She was last seen in her crib in the family's Spring Lake home at 11 p.m.
She was reported missing at 11 this morning.
The window of the child's bedroom was found open with a screen missing.
WRAL reports the baby's father is a soldier with the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg who returned from deployment in Iraq on Friday morning. He has never met his daughter, who was born while he was overseas.
Spring Lake is just north of Fort Bragg military base.
