RALEIGH (AP) — Daniel Evans will be the starting quarterback when North Carolina State faces Florida State this Saturday. That's from Wolfpack coach Tom O'Brien.
Evans replaces Harrison Beck, who is out with a separated shoulder.
Evans was the starter in N.C. State's last victory over a Bowl Subdivision team, leading the Wolfpack to a win over the Seminoles last season.
Evans began the season as the starter, but was replaced in the second week by Beck, who had started the last four games.
Beck was injured during the third quarter of last weekend's loss to Louisville. Evans relieved him and threw for the Wolfpack's only touchdown against the Cardinals.
