GREENSBORO - A man forced his way into a home late Wednesday, only leaving after neighbors came to help, police said.
At 10:30 p.m., a man forced his way into 605 Terrell St., Greensboro police said.
The man struck the resident, who was not named by police, in the face with his hand while repeatedly demanding money, police said. Neighbors came to help and the man ran out the back door.
The resident of the home was not injured. Police did not say if anything was taken from the home.
The man may have left the area in a burgundy Dodge Neon with three other men, police said.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crimestoppers at 373-1000.
