GREENSBORO — Police said they are making progress on investigating a Friday shooting that killed one and injured two at Turnbridge Apartments , but could identify no named suspects on Monday .
Bhilial Hykein Lasco , 18 , of Greensboro , was killed when an argument gave way to gunshots in the apartment complex's parking lot shortly before 5 p.m. Friday .
Devricke Lashaune Camack and Dominique Menser , both 16 , were also injured in the shooting.
Four men were seen fleeing the area in a car after the shooting, police said.
Greensboro police Capt. Gary Hastings said police are also trying to determine whether gang activity led to the shooting.
Police have been interviewing residents in the area. Friday evening, police walked through the area with K-9 search teams looking for clues.
"We know that some of the individuals involved had some connections to gang activity or some association to gangs, but we do not know if this is a gang event," Hastings said.
Sgt. Mike Riche, of the city's Criminal Intelligence Division, said both Crip and Blood gang members had been arrested in the apartment complex, but the area had not been known as gang territory.
Neighborhood residents interviewed Friday disagreed with that assessment.
A few said gangs had clashed previously and that one had run the other out of the neighborhood.
Greensboro has been struggling the past couple of years with growing gang violence.
Lasco's killing was the city's 18th this year.
