A student at R.J. Reynolds High School was charged with possessing weapons on school property after a school resource officer spotted a BB gun and a paintball gun in plain view in his car Monday, the sheriff's office said.
Jonathan Clyde Larrimore, 17, of 323 Foxcroft Drive in Winston-Salem, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of possession of a weapon on school property, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
He was released into the custody of his parents. His court date was set for Sept. 25.
