Restaurant employees robbed

GREENSBORO - Employees of a restaurant were robbed early Sunday morning, police said.

At 1:45 a.m., an employee of El Azteca restaurant at 4131 Spring Garden St. was approached by two men armed with guns as he exited the back door of the restaurant, Greensboro police said.

The men forced him back inside and demanded money, police said. When the men discovered there was no money in the drawer of the cash register, the men took money from employees in the restaurant, police said.

The employees were forced into a closet and the men fled the restaurant, police said.

The men are described as black, between the ages of 20 and 30, tall and slender. They were dressed in all black clothing, with their faces covered from the nose down.
