Woman injured, held against will

WINSTON-SALEM — Two High Point men face charges they forced a woman to drive with them to High Point on Wednesday, police said.

Winston-Salem police responded to 2409 Gilmer Ave. regarding a reported kidnapping.

Jennifer Ann Boyles, 25, who lived at that address, was taken against her will by two men, including one armed with a handgun, according to police.

Officers learned they may be headed to High Point. High Point police conducted surveillance and arrested them.

Boyles received minor injuries including bruising, police said.

Jerrick Dantanna Manning, 27, of 1705 Onkea St., was charged with felonious restraint, violating a domestic violence protective order, assault on a female and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He was being held without bond.

Derrick Letanna Manning, 27, of 515 Commerce St., was charged with felonious restraint and aiding and abetting.

He was being held under a $110,000 bond.
