purpose is to be the most trusted and most used source of news, information
and dialogue in the communities we serve.
We publish
the News & Record, a daily newspaper serving the metropolitan area
of Greensboro and the surrounding counties. Our circulation averages
close to 120,000 on Sundays, 110,000 on Saturdays and 90,000 on weekdays.
We produce
other print products, including a weekly arts and entertainment tabloid
called gotriad. We also offer top quality commercial printing for
other newspapers and businesses.
Additional
media and services include a free telephone information service and
an online information center for job seekers. Through gotriad.com,
we are building an online community for businesses and individuals in
our region.
Since
1965, the News & Record, Inc. has been a division of Landmark
Communications, Inc., a privately held media company
with national and international interests in newspapers, broadcasting,
cable programming, electronic publishing and specialty publications.
