Celebrate muscadine wine
Chinqua Penn Vineyard Red Muscadine was so popular (the 2008 vintage won silver medals at the Mid-Atlantic Wine Competition and the N.C. State Fair) that it sold out months ago.
Well the estate is releasing it's 2009 vintage. And to celebrate Chinqua Penn is offering two glasses for only $5 on the tasting room's patio today.

By the way, WayCup Coffee, a new coffee shop at 8460-C N.C. 87 in nearby Wentworth, will be holding a tasting of the muscadine and five other Chinqua Penn wines at 5:30 p.m. today. Call 394-4836.
