Anton's (1628 Battleground Ave., Greensboro; 273-1386) has farm-raised European turbot, a rather ugly fish from the halibut family. Chef Paul Shepherd says the fish's looks are deceiving and it is quite tasty. It is baked in parchment with lemon which opened at the table. Cost is $21.
This week, Anton's also has Flank Steak Roulade ($18) butter flied and stuffed with homemade, sweet Italian sausage mix.
Don't forget Shepherd's take on an Anton's classic: Lasagna Bolognese ($18) with a long-simmering meat sauce.
Early Bird specials this week are a chef salad, chicken pot pie or beef stew with dessert and wine for $20.
