Krispy Kreme will cap at 6,000 runners

Officials with the Krispy Kreme Challenge in Raleigh say about 4,300 runners have signed up for the event Feb. 6. They also say the field will cap at 6,000 runners.

I hope they are more prepared for 6,000 than they were for 5,000 last year. The out-and-back route is too crowded. The leaders have to dodge the masses. And they ran out of water before half the field was finished.
