Thirty AKC-registered Jack Russell Terriers will arrive in Greensboro on Sunday where three local groups have joined forces to prepare them for adoption on July 30.
Finding Great Homes for Jack Russell Terriers, a Jack Russell Rescue group in the Piedmont Triad, is coordinating the rescue efforts of the 30 dogs who will spend four days being prepared for adoption by the Humane Society of the Piedmont, Dog Days and Planned Pethood, a low-cost spay and neuter clinic.
Photographs and information about the dogs are available at www.petfinder.com/shelters/NC660.html. To adopt one of the terriers, please e-mail Robin@insightrecruiters.com.
Adoption fees are $150.00 per dog, which will be donated to provide future care for rescuing more Jack Russell Terriers in need of homes.
The Humane Society will transport the terriers to Greensboro on Sunday; Dog Days, a canine day care and boarding facility will provide accommodations, activities and natural, holistic meals for all of the Jack Russell’s; and Planned Pethood will spay and/or neuter each of the dogs, along with providing all of their current shots.
Each Jack Russell also will receive a Home Again Microchip with lifetime registration included.
