Happy Thanksgiving
I am blessed.
I am blessed with many things. I want to note two here.
The staff of this news organization is an amazing group of people that works together 365 days a year in pursuit of the truth. They deal with long days, sources that stiff them, readers that berate them (sometimes) and editors that expect them to do it better, faster, shorter, longer, more and less. They work through family dinners and vacations and holidays. They do it with such a good nature and positive energy that I am challenged to emulate them.
I thank them and I thank you, dear reader, who gives this blog, Web site and the newspaper your most precious gift -- your attention. We laugh together, argue together and, at times, barely tolerate each other. Thank you for being a good friend.
Both of you inspire me. Thanks.
