The first Web 2.0 chancellor?
I've been hard on A&T in the past so I must give credit to them now. New Chancellor Martin is out of his comfort zone and is texting students. That's big in an of itself. Even bigger is the Web 2.0 attitude he has. Martin tells Fox8:
"I'm an email junky, I'm not a big texter. But I tend to use text when it's more engaging for certain students. I think you have to be prepared to meet our students where they are, how they communicate." (Emphasis mine.)
Well said. Impressive.
