On the agenda: The City Council will consider:
— Abolishing the Rental Unit Certificate of Occupancy Board, the Property Owners Review Team, the Community Resource Board and the Advisory Commission on Trees. The planning board will take over the responsibility of the tree commission and community resource board.
The changes are an attempt to make the city boards operations more efficient.
— Adopting an agreement with the Guilford County Commissioners to dissolve the joint water and sewer trust fund. The county asked Greensboro to pay to fund the Lynwood Lakes subdivision project before the remnants of the trust fund go to eastern Guilford County water and sewer improvement projects.
— Providing a $200,000 low-interest loan to Greensboro Parking Group LLC to build a pay parking lot and restaurant in downtown.
— Banning concealed handguns in certain public park areas.
