Snowmageddon

Partisan warfare in Washington gets out of hand.

They really should have canceled that basketball game at Maryland yesterday.

Except for a few shady spots, High Point's slow-but-sure solar-powered snow-removal system finally has cleared city streets.

To be clear, that snowball fight was regionalism, not partisanship. It was north vs south. Sorry about that game, but they did the Georgetown-Villanova game the night before. Georgetown even filled up the student section at the Verizon Center. They trekked all the way across the city to get there. Although I hate Georgetown, I am impressed by their dedication, and to come out with that great win. Also the Caps played in DC yesterday and they won their 14th game in a row! That's right, there's a pro sports team in DC that's actually good. If I cared at all about hockey I'd be really excited.

Isn't north vs. south the same thing as D vs. R?

Well, when I say north vs. south, I mean which side of Dupont Circle you happened to be standing on when it started.
