We may get the most bang for our buck in Greensboro and High Point.
But how about being among the most frugal?
In a recent survey, Coupons Inc., which runs the Coupons.com Web site, ranked the top 20 most frugal cities in 2009 based on coupon use at its site.
Cities had to have at least 300,000 residents to be ranked, so Greensboro and High Point weren't eligible.
The rankings are based on each city's printed coupon savings on Coupons.com in relation to its population size.
The closest cities from the Triad that are mentioned are Charlotte (7th) and Raleigh (11th).
Atlanta came in first.
The ranking doesn't take into account factors including other coupon-clipping Web sites, coupons from newspapers, coupon books and those that come in the mail.
