When tax return dough is for the birds
You might be using your tax refund money to pay some bills, plan a vacation or buy a big ol’ flatscreen.
Others? It’s for the birds.
Just ask Stephie East, owner of Stephie’s Exotic Birds (3741-A Battleground Ave., Greensboro; 288-0357).
“We started seeing the tax-return people coming in early February,” East said during a recent visit to her store.
