I haven't written in a while, but it's my cats fault. They really haven't been as amusing as normal. Maybe they are all just getting old and lazy.
We have had a few small things happen the last few weeks:
* Julian is realizing he has the upper hand on me. Due to his age, I've been feeding him upstairs in our master bedroom rather than forcing him to climb down three flights of steps just to eat. Thinking I was making his life a little easier, I was happy to help. Then I realized he was making the walk for my husband. He has me wrapped around his little paw.
* The holidays were easy going for my three. No family trips this year, so we made Thanksgiving at home. Due to my festive spirit, I did something I never do. I gave Apple and Abbey turkey. Not that the two of them need human food, they are fat enough. But it's Thanksgiving, a small bit of turkey can't hurt, right?
* I got a new camera recently, and my cats were the receipent of my test photos. I certainly don't need more photos of my cats, but with a new fancy camera that takes things in black and white, who could resist? Just look how cute Apple is.

The first few frames went well, with them dozing in the sunlight or curled up in bed. After a while I think they tired of a camera in their face, and left the room. I guess my photo session was over.
Christmas will be spent at home, with new toys from my family. Then it'll be time for Abbey's yearly visit to the vet. Where I'm certain they will tell me she's too fat, like they do every year. I am looking forward to that conversation, again.
