A frenzied exit
I now understand the saying "curiosity killed the cat."
Not that any of my cats met a tragic end, but I'm sure Apple had quite a scare.
I normally don't let the cats in the guest room. I try to keep it pet-hair free for my guests, and there's a lot of stuff in that room they could get into. It's my cat-free zone. But occasionaly I'll be in that room doing something, and I'll leave the door open.
Which is an invitation for the cats to come explore.
The other night, Apple followed me into the room, and was greeted by not only a room to explore, but an open closet. After a while I heard her digging around in the closet, and I yelled at her to scram.
Unfortunately when quickly running from the closet, she got caught up in a plastic garment bag hanging from the closest door. She fought with that thing, getting herself more stuck, and more flipped out.
Finally she freed herself and ran from the room. Guess she won't be back in there for a while.
