John Blust is a father

Rep. John Blust, a Greensboro Republican, is a new daddy.

Barbara Virginia Blust entered the world on Dec. 1. Blust reports that baby and mother, Maria, are doing fine.

When asked if being a new father would change how he legislates, Blust said, “Probably not.

He then joked, “I’m trying to teach her free market principles and fiscal responsibility.”

As a father of two myself, I'd suggest they work on sleeping through the night first. Congratulations to the Blust family.

Congratulations to John.
As for the fiscal responsibility....well, let me say, welcome to fatherhood ol chap! You will now know that you have NEVER loved anything like you will love that bundle of joy. Wonder how Robert Moores will react, knowing he was wrong when he intimated on WKEW that you were gay. : )
Congratulations John, as fatherhood is the greatest thing in the world--but you get out of it, what you put into it.
