I am so sick of reading about consignment shops in this column. Bargains are not wearing other people's used clothes. Bargains are about regular stores offering sales, special offers, etc. How about digging a little deeper to see what is in the Greensboro area. I'm sure you can get on mailing lists and do a little more research to make this an interesting column.

There's really no need to be rude and condescending to people who buy used clothes. If you don't find this blog (it's not a column), interesting, then don't read it.

Not that I feel the need to defend mentioning consignment shops (I don't), but in the last 10 entries, I mentioned only one consignment shop having a sale and another place (not a consignment shop) having a consignment sale.

If you'd like to instead offer something constructive - say a retailer that sells new items you think is worthy of mentioning - I'm all ears.

Mike, I agree with you totally! The idea of a bargain is getting something of value to you at a great deal and for alot of people in this market consignment shops fill that need. I have also seen you mention "sales" at many local retailers that are not consignment stores so I say keep up the good work!
