Hanesbrands holding big sale for charity
Get big discounts on Hanesbrands clothes this weekend.
The company is donating 11 tractor-trailer loads of apparel during a sale Saturday to benefit the United Way of Forsyth County.
The annual community product sale will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the company's Weeks Plant parking lot at 401 W. Hanes Mill Road in Winston-Salem.
More than 100 volunteers from Hanesbrands and United Way will be on hand.
The sale will feature products from the company's top brands, including Hanes, Champion, Playtex, Bali, Just My Size, L'eggs and Outer Banks.
Most apparel is priced between 50 cents and $8 and includes bras, panties, hosiery, tights, socks, sweat shirts and sport shirts.
Cash and credit cards will be accepted but not personal checks. Rain date is Oct. 3.
