My Pet: Spencer

Name of Pet: Spencer

Age: 7 and a half months

Resides in: Greensboro

Breed: Boxer

Male of female: Female

Owner: Katie

How owner and pet came together: Stumbled upon her at the pet store when she was just under 2 months. I picked her up to play with her and she fell asleep on my shoulde,r so I decided I would take her home right then.

Best trick: She is extremely intelligent, but very stubborn. So her best “trick” would have to be “sit.”

Favorite activity: playing Frisbee

Is there anything else we should know about this pet? (i.e., likes/dislikes, act of heroism, quirk etc.) She enjoys barking at people who dare to walk near the driveway, taking long walks and chasing rabbits. She knows all of her toys by name and only eats treats when she feels like it (sometimes she likes to save them for later.)

What a face! She looks like a lot of fun! Our neighbor has a great boxer. He is an escape artist extraordinaire. Fortunately he only comes over to visit us. He has learned to "knock" on the door (barking and pawing) to let us know he's here when he escapes. He's done this since puppyhood and must be almost 75-100 pounds now, a few years later.
