People who play video games are fat and depressed, according to a survey.
I wasn't asked to participate in the survey, which was based on 552 adults in the Seattle-Tacoma area. But I'm happy to report I'm having a blast playing video games on my Xbox 360.
Right now I'm playing Fallout 3. Two bloody thumbs up. Tiger Woods is great fun, too, when competing against others around the world on Xbox Live.
Yes, there are some fat and depressed gamers out there. But there are plenty of happy gamers, too. Video games, it turns out, may even help some better cope with depression.
Anyway, this piece of news might cheer gamers up: the price of Microsoft's Xbox 360 Elite 120-gigabyte game console will be cut by $100 to $299 starting tomorrow.
It's also cutting the price of the Xbox 360 Pro model, which it's phasing out, by $50 to $249.
This follows other good news for gamers. Microsoft rival Sony recently announced it's cutting the price tag of its 80-gigabyte PlayStation 3 by $100 to $299.
