Sony cuts PlayStation 3 price tag
Good news for gamers: Sony is cutting the price tag of its 80-gigabyte PlayStation 3 by $100 to $299.
It's also launching a slimmer, lighter model in early September that will also cost $299.
Will it be enough to turn sales around in a recession that has hit the video game industry hard?
That's the $299 question.
