Budget documents for Wednesday

For those playing “Budget and Tax: the home game,” here are some documents for you:

According to the summary, there are $88.7 million in new fees for Fiscal Year 2009-10 and $104.6 million in FY 2010-11.

Fee increases include will hit everything from extra surcharges on certain driving offenses to licenses for tanning beds and vital records fees.

Oh, and they would charge law enforcement officers fees for their in-service training.

I understand the Raleigh Mafia put a fee on 4 wheelers and hired folks to enforce it.
Sounds like a money losing sham to me.
