Were there real attacks or did the powers that be want to end it?

My guess is that folks were uncomfortable with registering, even though they could create whatever identity they wanted and give a bogus email address.

Most of the comments posted here were signed anonymous or, like yourself, with some fake name. I think people liked being able to just hop on and say whatever they felt and leave whatever name they wanted.

I'm not a fan of that process myself. Most times it only promotes disinformation but sometimes folks left good info that helped me so if I had my way we'd go back to the old way of doing things.

That said we were getting spam, including links to some porn sites so we had to do something.

I'm disappointed we're not getting more hits on the blog and I think our IT people are looking at it.

First they share they want to change the threshold then they decide not to. Perhaps Don is not the only one that needs to retire hopefully Kelly will follow behind him

So with the recent decision to not change the threshold perhaps we will see not only qualified teachers but EFFECTIVE teachers making a difference in these schools.

Will some please ask Kris who approved the 2005 decision to have the Title 1 threshold at 60% for elementary schools, 67% for middle schools and 75% for high schools

You would think after watching the BOE meeting tonight she was clueless on how this happened. From research of old meeting minutes it looks like she was in attendance.

Is she was so concerned about more schools being included in the threshold perhaps she should have pushed a little harder maybe a 35% threshold for elementary, middle and high but back then they did not want to be called Title 1 now they are all it!

Once again a BOE vote that come back to bit them.

What an unfair comment to Hales and Hare. I would assume thier recommendation was the one presented two weeks ago. When are folks going to start to hold the superintendent and his chiefs for not understanding basic issues like using additional funding to help additional schools?

You might want to suggest using a password manager that makes the signin process a little less painful; such as Roboform, KeePass or some other.

Math and Physics Club

A place where 6, 7 and 8 graders can learn age and skill appropriate math and science for $10.00 and hour per week for up to 3 hours a week. All programs are self paced and guided study. Each program is designed to identify and address weaknesses, develop interest and skills as well as challenge each student’s limits through independent study skill development.
