WITW: The Friday reveal
Monday's image ... is the Koury Convention Center at the Sheraton Greensboro Hotel at Four Seasons, aka the hotel at the mall:
Joe Koury had his reasons for building this thing (the original parts of it are to the right, just out of the camera view) where he did. But I always wonder what downtown would look and feel like these days if the Four Seasons was somewhere downtown.Two people knew what this was:
* Karen Bouldin of Greensboro (a four-time winner)
* Jim Salthouse of Greensboro (who responded first)
Congrats to both of them.
I'm probably going to take off next week because the Daytona 500 is in nine days and I've been playing around with the NASCAR blog. I might try something else with the WITW space, too.
But don't worry, WITW-ers. I'll be back.
